Your metabolism is the other factor that is important in burning belly flab. This refers to the speed at which your body burns through calories performing general day to day chemical reactions necessary for the survival of the body. If we can increase the speed of this metabolic rate then we are going to burn through a good deal more calories even whilst we are not doing anything.
We can speed up the metabolic rate by doing two main things:
1) Training – this puts a fair amount of stress on the body and ramps up the metabolic rate for considerable periods of time following a workout.
2) Eat meals often – If you only eat just once per day your body is going to think that food is in scarce supply and in order to look after the food/energy that it does currently have in order to maintain survival it lowers the body’s metabolic rate, this is dreadful news for burning belly fat and is the precise reason that low/restricted calorie diets are terribly ineffective!
In order to burn belly fat these are the steps that you are going to need to take:
a) Eat regularly at least 4 times per day but not too excess, just eat until just short of being satisfied. Steer clear of junk foods, sweets and foods like that, just plain old common sense really.
b) Exercise often, anything will do really it will all help the energy balance but in a perfect world you would do high intensity interval training (HIIT) at least three times a week. Weight training is great for burning belly fat too!
c) Never give up. Belly fat will not disappear overnight afterall it probably took you many years to get into this state. Change your lifestyle to burn belly flab as recommended and you will see gradual change over the weeks and months. There is no miracle cure, so stop looking for one! Just be happy that you are in full control of the size of the belly you have and that you can burn belly fat if you so choose!
