So, how quick is quick?The healthiest way to lose weight, as well as the most permanent, is to take it off slowly. It is often recommended that no more than 1 or 2 pounds per month is lost or 1 or 2 pounds a week, depending on the opinion.

Try a short fast or cleanse to kick start your weight loss. A cleanse will motivate you to stay healthy in the long term. A cleanse can also help rid your body of toxins and chemicals that can be lingering in your system, and boost your energy levels as well.
