You see a lot of people these days with excess arm fat. Too much arm fat can have you feeling horrible about yourself so I know why you’d want to get rid of it. Your friends might poke fun at your arms saying that you have bat wings. Really though, too much arm fat is no laughing matter.
If you have too much arm fat, you might feel embarrassed to go out wearing clothes that show off your arms or go down to the beach.
But there’s good news, you don’t need to suffer through life with arm fat. Take the following advice to heart to begin losing arm fat right now.

Your first instinct is to probably focus on exercises that target your arms, but this isn’t the most effective method to lose arm fat, so put down the dumbbells. The reason is because you cannot lose fat in a certain area of your body by doing workouts. This won’t help you lose fat on your belly, your butt, or your arms.
The only way you can lose arm fat (or any other type of fat) is to lose overall body weight. Once you begin losing weight over your whole body, you’ll find that you also begin losing arm fat as well. You will be much slimmer and sexier overall.
To get started losing fat on your entire body, start with some good cardio exercises. Start jogging or biking, or even consider a form of intense aerobic dancing if that helps. This will increase your heart rate and help you burn extra calories.
Secondly, you’ll have to focus on building some new muscle. The muscles in your body eat up calories, so we want more of them. Muscles need fuel, and the more muscles you have the quicker they will dig into your reserves of fat to feed themselves.
(For you ladies out there, don’t worry about turning into some freakish bodybuilder. Women’s bodies are not naturally made to become overly muscular like that unless you are actively trying to do that. You’ll instead get a very attractive, lean and toned physique.)
Your thighs and buttocks are the most powerful and largest set of muscles in your body. So to see the quickest results, we want to put our energy on these muscle groups. It might seem strange to build leg muscles to lose arm fat. When you understand how your body works, though, it seems very logical. Start by building your legs muscles with lunges and squats. These workouts will give you a big bang for your buck.
Lastly, fine-tune your diet to help speed up your metabolism. Don’t try those usual diets that just starve your body. These diets will only inhibit your fat loss. If you don’t eat enough your body becomes weak and begins to starve which only slows your metabolism.
