Lose Weight and Look Great With These Fat Burning Secrets

When your metabolism is high you burn more calories even when your body is resting, even when you are sleeping. Your body uses the calories you consume when your metabolism is high rather than turning calories into fat. The most effective way to lose fat is by boosting metabolism.

The result is people begin wanting food. This is only natural. To compensate for calories they did not eat the last two or three days, they overeat. If you have a sedentary life style and job, your metabolism needs to be raised not your food intake lowered. When you do not eat, the first thing your body does is feed off your muscle, not your fat.

When your metabolism is slow, calories you consume will be stored as fat. Of course your body does burn calories throughout the day simply as it performs the normal activities of life like breathing. But outside of these calories you burn, all other calories are turned into fat. The object is to turn calories you eat into energy.

Not only will you lose weight, but also you will have more get up and go. You will not feel tired throughout the day. It is simple to increase your metabolism even if you work in an office all day. But realize you have to get your body moving a lot for fast weight loss. You boost your metabolism by raising your heart rate. You will want to consult with your health care professional, of course, before you start any exercise program. You should understand though that boosting your metabolism is nothing more than regular exercise.

Do you remember in high school you could eat a lot more and not gain weight and now you gain weight when you eat a little? Well, it has more to do with a low metabolism than getting older. When you were in high school you might have walked to school and walked home. You walked to and from class. You spent an hour a day in gym class. And if you were on one or more high school teams you had two to three hours of practice a day.

Your metabolism was on fire then. Your body could barely get enough calories to keep you going. Now you ride or drive to work, you sit in your office chair all day, you get home feeling drained mentally and physically, you check the TV listings and snack yourself to sleep after a large dinner.

Getting to the gym is not easy, we all know that. So this month shoot for one trip after work per week. Next month shoot for two trips a week. Work up to three. Take a walk at lunch once a week. Work up to two per week, then three walks at lunch per week. You do not have to train for the Olympics, simply get moving a little now and increase as the weeks go for fast weight loss.

This weekend take a few hours to play. Throw the football around, run around with the dog, have fun like you used to. The better way to physical fitness is not starving yourself, it’s losing fat by boosting metabolism. So go outside and start moving around again.
