Breaded Pork Chops And Velveeta Macaroni and Cheese
Whenever you don’t feel up to the task of making dinner for the night, then a trouble-free dinner plan that you can trust to bring an appetizing meal is what you need. If you need to prepare something simple, then the humble pork chop is at your disposal.
Pork chops, like chicken, are handy when it’s cheap, easy meals you want but with that good, old-fashioned home-made taste. Although, plain pork chops are good, the breaded ones are better. However, it might require a little too much effort for a simple meal like this.
Luckily for us, there is an easy way to make breaded pork chops! You’ll only need a package of pork chops, flour, eggs, margarine and some crushed crackers. Anybody can whip up this meal in no time!
Easy Breaded Pork Chops
- 6 pork chops
- 1/2 cup of flour
- 2 eggs beaten,
- 15 Ritz style crackers crushed
- 2 tablespoons of margarine.
In a medium-sized bowl, add flour. Then beat the eggs in a separate bowl and add the crushed crackers in a third bowl.
Melt margarine in a large skillet over medium heat.
Coat both sides of pork chop in the flour, then dip them in the eggs and finally coat it in the cracker-crumb mixture. Cook the pork chops on both sides until it’s totally cooked.
Cola Pork Chops
- 1 cup of ketchup
- 1 cup of regular cola (any brand)
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 8 pork chops
- salt and pepper to taste.
First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Then in a small bowl, mix ketchup, cola and brown sugar together.
Put the pork chops in a baking saucer and transfer the cola mixture on top. Pay attention to coating the chops, making sure that you coat them well. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
Bake for an hour or until the chops are cooked.
Now for a great dish to go along with your pork chops here’s Mac and cheese with a twist! Velveeta Cheese Baked Mac! In line with our “simple dinner” theme, all we need is just a box of macaroni, flour, butter, milk and Velveeta cheese.
Velveeta Macaroni and Cheese
- 1 (16 oz.) box of Macaroni – uncooked
- 1/2 cup of butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
- 4 cups of milk
- 1 (14 oz.) package of Velveeta cheese cut into chunks
- 8 slices of Velveeta cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Heat up the oven to 350 degrees. Get a 13×9-inch baking dish and spread some cooking oil or spray.
Over medium heat, melt the butter in a large saucepan. Whisk in the flour and milk. Stir constantly while cooking over medium heat. Wait for the mixture to boil and thickens.
Put in the Velveeta chunks and allow them to melt. Put in the salt and pepper.
Empty the raw macaroni into the baking dish, and then pour the cheese sauce above the macaroni. Bake for 20 minutes. From the over, take out the dish and put individual slices of cheese on top.
Take back the dish to the oven and bake it for 5 minutes, or once the cheese slices on top have melted. Allow the dish to cool for 5 minutes before serving the tasty Velveeta Macaroni and Cheese.
