My Swine Flu Worry By Martha Sutton

I’m sharing this blog because all my friends and family have been asking me to share my swine flu story. It all started a few months ago when I watched the news clips of the Mexican deaths from Swine Flu. At the time, I had just fallen pregnant with my second child and, obviously, was a little concerned about the next bird flu type outbreak. This blog is for all the mothers out there who have the same concerns I do about Swine Flu.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

My name is Martha P. Sutton and I live in Omaha, USA. I am pregnant, have a young child and I’m happily married. I’m was really worried how the Swine flu pandemic would affect my unborn child and my family. Today, I’m less concerned because I’ve bought Tamiflu for my family and Relenza for me.

WHY DID I BUY RELENZA?

I learnt that pregnant women, especially those in the third trimester, are at high risk of serious complications from the H1N1 A influenza virus (Swine flu to you and me). I also gleened from the internet that most mothers-to-be in the United Kingdom are being prescribed Relenza, an inhaled antiviral drug which treats the virus without reaching the foetus. I wanted to protect my unborn child and be ready for the possibility of infection, so I obtained Relenza from a reliable internet company.

WHY DID I STOCKPILE TAMIFLU?

When Swine flu is particularly severe, doctors around the world are suggesting Tamiflu instead. In fact, Tamiflu is probably best should my family catch the virus. To those people who think I should simply wait to catch the virus, my argument to them is that its my money and I can do what I want with it. Why can’t I buy drugs from the internet and get ahead of the herd before stocks run out? If Harry Potter can catch Swine flu, then its highly likely that my family can catch it too.

IF I CAN DO IT, SO CAN YOU!

Swine flu is in the news every day. It’s a relief to wake up, knowing I’ve got a stockpile of Relenza and Tamiflu in my cupboard. I went to this company to buy Relenza and Tamiflu and I had a good experience. They still had them available when I last looked. Thanks for reading and good luck with avoiding this pandemic.
