Citrus fruits are also sometimes known as acid fruits. Owing of their detoxifying nature, they have a number of therapeutic benefits. People eat citrus fruits not only because they taste good but also because they are very healthy. There are numerous health benefits related to the intake of citrus fruits, like they are free of sodium, cholesterol and less in fat.

When we talk of numerous health benefits of Vitamin C, the first thing that strikes our mind is citrus fruits, as they contain vitamin C in abundance.
